Mary M. Reece, Ed.D.
Director of School Leadership Programs
Mary Reece is the Director of School Leadership Programs at the
Foundation for Educational Administration (FEA) in Monroe Township, NJ. Prior to
joining FEA, Dr. Reece served as a principal, assistant principal and supervisor in a
large suburban school district. She began her teaching career in an urban district
and later worked at the New Jersey Department of Education.
Dr. Reece has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at Rutgers University from
which she has received her graduate degrees, and she has served as a mentor for many
administrative interns. She has presented at state, national and international
conferences on such diverse topics as teacher/administrative tenure, special education
issues, and mentoring/induction. She has been an active member of local, state and
national education associations, completing a term as a member of the Board of Directors
of the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP).
Currently, she is the chairperson of the Montgomery Township Environmental Commission
and a member of Sustainable Montgomery. Dr. Reece also serves on the Board of
Directors of Young Audiences New Jersey.
