Summer of Learning!
The Annual NJPSA/FEA/NJASCD Summer Convention and NJ ELITE Conference
July 14-18, 2008 at the Wildwoods Convention Center in Wildwood, NJ

The 2008 NJ ELITE Conference offers something for everyone. Participants will be invited to select the strand that most interests them. Then, in partnership with a skilled facilitator, presenters, and program assistants, they will work in small, project-based learning communities designed to offer hands-on experience and an in-depth discussion of related topic areas. Participants can chose from one of four offered strands.
Continued Learning throughout the Year
Attendees at the 2008 NJ ELITE Conference will receive access to an exclusive online learning community that will function as an extension of the program. The NJ ELITE Online Learning Community will include:
- Access to resources for continued learning
- Opportunities to share ideas and practices with colleagues
- A forum for networking and support
- Advice from seasoned technology professionals
In addition to the NJ ELITE Online Learning Community, a mid-year follow-up session for all attendees will be available through the FEA Professional Development Initiative.
Best Practice Awards
Congratulations to Passaic Valley Regional High School under the direction of Matthew Conforth, Director of Educational Technology for winning the Best Practice Award for "Around the World" with video conferencing
Best Practice winners will be available all day Thursday as a resource for the strand groups.
Products and Support
NJ ELITE is busily assembling a selection of vendors and exhibitors who offer information and support in each of the four strands. On Wednesday and Thursday, these vendors will be available to participants to provide information and demonstrations surrounding the latest educational technology.
